Holistic household looking for a new flatmate Hi lovely people!There will be a room available 1st November in our little bohemian rooftop apartment in Bos en Lommer/De Baarsjes. Viewings starting this week, I’m looking for someone to sign the contract next week already so please react fast!↠ The room The room is around 8,5m2 and comes semi-furnished (there will be a shelf and a clothing rack, you’ll need your own bed). The rent is around 790€ excl. (with bills (gas & electricity/water/internet) around 870€). There’s also a deposit of 1500€. ↠ The house In the house we have a kitchen and a living room, a bathroom with a bathtub and a big rooftop terrace. The house in itself is not huge but it’s cosy, in the summer there’s a lot of space as you can hang out on the roof as well. There are quite a few plants in the house (more is always welcome ). If you like animals, there are 2 neighbour cats that are always around (see in the pictures).The area is nice with different shops and restaurants nearby. We also have two parks, Westerpark and Erasmuspark, just 5-minute walk away. Bus and tram stops are a few minutes away, 10-15 minutes biking to the city centre, nearest train station Sloterdijk 5 minutes by tram or bike.↠ About meThe house will be shared with me. I’m 30 years old and originally from Finland but I’ve been here in Amsterdam for a while. I’m a copywriter during the day and on the side I have my own little project: becoming a full-time entrepreneur in mindfulness (yoga, energy healing, sound healing etc.). A holistic and healthy lifestyle is a big part of my life – so you can expect singing bowls, fresh fruit juices, too many books about self-development and non-toxic cleaning products and so on. I’m quite busy with my life most of the time so home for me is a place to relax and feel good. In my free time I like to meet friends, do sports, dance, be in nature, read, travel, write, cook, try out new things…↠ What about you?Practical things: full-time working, aged 27-35, preferably female. The house has an income requirement so having a steady income is a must (no students, sorry)!I’m looking for someone to share a home with. Having a good atmosphere in the house, being understanding towards each other and being open with communication is important for me. If we can be friends that’s a big plus, but I’m looking for someone who has their own life already established. I have quite a lot of mindfulness in my life so it’s not a house to have big parties at every weekend (inviting friends over from time to time is nice though and we have a perfect rooftop for that in the summer!). I like to keep the house tidy and share the cleaning duties equally.
