Hey all!My dear roomie is leaving end of February, so I have a room available on a big houseboat on the Jacob Van Lennepkade in Oud West. The boat is located on a super calm street in walking distance from the Vondelpark, Hallen, and Leidseplein. (I know nobody walks and nobody cares about Leidseplein, but just to give you an idea :))The entire vessel is about 85m2, and the available room about 12m2. The room has a lovely window towards the water and comes with a bed and plenty of storage space.The living room, kitchen and Barbie pink bathroom are quite spacious and equipped with everything you might possibly need. (And a ton of plants)In the back there's an additional guest room/office space with a couch that unfolds into an extra bed. I've also installed a projector here for film nights on the big screen. This space also has a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer.On top of the 80m2, I also have a floating terrace of 16m2 on the south side of the boat for legendary barbecues and general chillax-related activities. I docked my sailboat next to it.In front of the boat I've also put a little bench and table, ideal for a sunny breakfast between the flowers. The street is really quiet with only a few cars passing by per hour.What more can I say? This place is awesome!You'll only be sharing this space with me, 33 year old Belgian Film Producer and Theme Park designer, and a lovable ginger cat. I travel quite a lot for work so you'll often have the place to yourself in exchange for not letting my feline friend die. (Don't worry, I know plenty of cat-sitters if this is inconvenient.)There's never a shortage of beer in the house since I make that stuff myself, and I'm just generally quite clean and easy going.I'm renting out this room with all the cool stuff from March until May or June for €850/month plus €100 monthly costs.
